Watching MJ tribute on CNN...

I have to say I'm disgusted with the way we (I include myself) follow tragic, shameful and hurtful occurrences we call NEWS. Michael Jackson's death is a perfect example. People are now into his personal health when some of these tv personalities don't want us to look into their cabinets or secret stashes. We think we're entitled to any info just because someone is a public figure. And now, I've seen people upset with the President for not being more sympathetic to the Jackson family. He's the president and NEWSFLASH! we've got some heavy shit going on due to get heavier. I LOVED Michael's Music. I feel his life was in no way the way he would have liked it to be despite how we feel. BUT...facts are he was accused of child molestation more than once. No matter how much I love his music and feel for his tragedies I would have never let my son or daughter alone with him. Period. Should Barack have to comment on every black issue near and dear to many blacks just because he is black?
